You witness interesting things every day that inspire roles and goals. You’ve probably seen a neighbor doing something of interest or received an inspiration from a mentor on television. Maybe you have just seen a fashion show and decide upon an art project that will set you into a new direction or you’ve watched a game that makes you want to be a coach or try that sport.
Each week, you’ll start the practice of writing down new ideas from mentors. This will engage you into a life-changing process by establishing daily record of mentors and the character traits you admire the most with their roles and goals and making a daily habit of following through with an intention focused on roles and goals. The task list comes from answering the six intention questions and this inspires new habits that are attentive and purposeful with your daily actions.
Weekly Intentions is a tool to create a task list of things you are not accustomed to doing. It develops pride because you are actively exploring options. These six Weekly Intentions create To-Dos for self-image. It is a vehicle to create life-changing habits that create new distractions from counterproductive tasks or stagnant behaviors. New disciplines come from witnessing mentors and setting unusual daily intentions. When you see a neighbor taking the time to play ball with her son, if you say to yourself, “Gee that’s nice,” then you can record your neighbor’s action as a mentoring example you’ve just witnessed.
After a period of three months of using Weekly Intentions, you will establish new daily regiments and behaviors that become a habit. Mentors give us a sense of the standards of integrity that we want in our life. They have traits that become an inspiration. This creates an opportunity to stop and observe the little wonders in your life. Finding common interests with other people will be the first step to being with people who you can communicate with and will be enjoying activities that intrigue you.
Weekly Intentions are the first steps you’ll take to empower life with integrity and improved relationships. The more attentiveness you have to finding a purpose in life will get you out of old habits that may have been natural for you but don’t serve you well. As you engage new activities, learning experiences and even world conscious thinking into your daily life, you will feel pride and confidence starting to form. Do let others to do the work, reinforce your inner voice by creating experiences outside of your comfort zone and developing the person you want to become.
The powerful exercise of Weekly Intentions molds your roles and goals into activities that get extra attention and focus on the things that last a lifetime. The most excellent journey you can take is be filled with new social activities and investigated interests to pursue.
